Summary[]
The story follows Minato Narumiya, a boy who used to be in his middle school kyudo club until a certain incident caused him to vow to quit encounter in a forest Minato ultimately decides to overcome his past issues and return to kyudo. Along with his old and new comrades, he once more aims for winning the prefectural tournament.

A young Minato visits a shrine with his mother, where he stumbles upon a kyudo competition. This sparks his interest in doing kyudo, and where he first learns the term tsurune (an especially beautiful sound of a bowstring). He asks his mother to promise that she will come cheer him on in a competition.
